Community Guidelines
It is in the forum that college students share and get connected with other students who may be in a position to help encourage them, support them, and provide valuable insight. To make this a positive and productive experience, we do expect all of our members to observe the community guidelines outlined below.
1. Respect
All members are expected to treat others as they would like to be treated. Personal attacks, harassment, and discrimination will not be tolerated. We all are here to learn and grow through the exchange with each other.
2. Stay on Topic
Keep the discussions on topic for the respective forums. This keeps the threads clean and much easier for the community to seek out what they are looking for.
3. Provide Constructive Input
Also, never hesitate to provide your positive feedback and suggestions, considering that each member has special experiences and his own way of thinking on the involved subject.
4. Spam and Self Promotion
Refrain from spamming posts, self-serving messages, and advertisements. Yes, sharing supportive resources is permitted, but do so judiciously and only when necessary, with relevance to the posted matter.
5. Privacy
Let privacy be respected by not posting any personal information concerning self or others. Examples include, but are not limited to: e-mail addresses, phone numbers, and other personal data. Respect fellow members' privacy.
6. Reporting
If you feel any post or comment is against these guidelines, report it to the moderators. We take such things seriously, and we will act in due time.
7. Obey the Law
Members shall follow all applicable laws and regulations. Do not post any illegal material, plagiarism, or violation of another party's rights in any way.
8. Proper Language
Decent proper language should be used, avoiding abusive or explicit language that would hurt someone else's feelings.
9. Active Participation
Communicate actively through questioning, sharing experience, or contributing to discussions. The active community exerts a force of growth.
10. Moderation
Moderators on this site are committed to making sure that each and every one of them has a great experience in all ways. They can remove posts or suspend accounts without warning for any of these rules. Respect their judgments.
Your Commitment
By registering with or using the My Science Project website, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to be bound by these Community Guidelines and all applicable laws. We can only make this a safe, supportive, and enriching space for all our members because of your compliance.
